  9. Made these versions i had while back but due to the reel spin speed i thought i'd wait till mfme v19 was released, and now it is. you'll notice these will run better than the £10 version i did for v6, I've included the £10 version as i've brightened the buttons up on this one, plus its including coin effects Thanks goto richy1976 for image used, and adding coin effects etc hitthesix for the original £8/£5/£10 layout for lamping purposes not had the jackpot hold after its first win yet, so let me know if it does, cheers. If anyone can get hold of the £6 tokens set please upload as i've the artwork prepped for this version too. Again PLAY THESE IN MFME V19+ ONLY Enjoy and Happy gaming!!! 13. This was originally released as a mini 1024dx then i enlarged it for mfme5 but forgot to update the release thread, move onto today and barrie bluestreak has just got this machine and kindly got his roms dumped by louie bee for us to finally enjoy this layout without the feature cash numbers crashing the emulator Here's the original notes from the earlier release Here is a old classic, probably my oldest machine layout so far, It's pcp's nudgemoney a great little 2p'er!!!. I can see why spa loves this machine so much a excellent machine that sits alongside the great test pilot but in my option is miles better in playabilty, as spa states you can get the jackpot regularly by taking the 2nd feature "hi-lo money". I now remember this machine well as it was one of the first machines i played back in the 80's where i learnt to perfect the skillstop's and probably played it a lot due to it being cheap as a fiver on these would last all afternoon down by the seaside on a wet sunday lol. Back to the layout, thanks to spa for sending me the images and hopefully we'll see this in his large emulation machine in the near future!! Its been an absolute pleasure recreating this, brought back great memories. At times i thought it's just to hard to make anything from the images but with a little push and from some more images found from the mecca, here it is!! Also thanks to spa for his classic layout used as a base! the text isn't as accurate as the original machine text but is the correct fontage, also the picky ones here will probably notice the double 2p's are different than the actual machine, due to me putting them the wrong way around.. oooppppss lol. thanks goto player for originally dumping the roms. 14. Hi Guys This one is specially for RobT, who supported this project with Roms, pictures and valuable feedback. 1981 Barcrest Rock On DX - MPU2 You will need the latest version of MFME which is currently v19.4, due to an update Mr Wizard did on MPU2/3 emulation, that improves the performance of this machine and others running the same tech. Thanks goes to RobT for his fantastic support! Launton for his great quality reel fruit scans, and especially for sending me a nice Apple:) Thanks also goes to Hitthesix for setting this project up, Richy1976 for organizing the sound files, and finally Mr Wizard for the amazing MFME and the fantastic updates he has done:)) Here is the layout: ROCK-ON v1.zip Long Live MFME! </Frig>

  38. Hi chaps Got myself my third electro machine last night. This one is called Pub Climber and is a conversion of Bell Fruit Ten Up on 10p play £2 jackpot. It's currently on all cash payout using the current. steel 10p's,but I am hoping to convert it back to old 10s and tokens, and to link up the studs to enhance the game play. I have done a video here for those who haven't seen this before. Hope you enjoy watching it. Cheers👍👍👍 Chris217

  43. I have a couple of sets of reels here I thought it might be good to start a thread with the help of pictures on what's involved in a step by step guide of the strip down, service and rebuild of these mechanical parts. Some electro owners have their own way to strip and service these reels which is fine with the same results, this way is my own which I find easiest for me. This first set of reels are out of a Bell Fruit Ten Up. This is a four reel machine but the working parts are the same on a three reel set with only one reel less. A good tip is to take pictures of everything on your own reel deck as you move along so if you do happen to get stuck with many of the parts you will know exactly where they belong.. The reels in early electro machines are held secure in position by two clamps at the back, later models had two brackets mounted on either end plate of the reels and secured by two bolts accessed under the reel shelf. once released and the reel loom plugs disconnected the reels will lift out from the machine. Part 1. First job is to remove the drive belt along with the two drive cogs on the reel and motor shafts. the cogs both have two hex bolts each to secure them to the drive shafts and may need a pair of pliers to help crack them loose as they have to be very tight. both these drive cogs are identical so no need to mark which came from where as they can go back on either drive shaft when rebuilding.. Next the reel motor... Bell Fruit used BA socket sizes for the smaller nuts and bolts on their machines in the 70s so anyone like me with socket drivers the bolt size holding the reel motor is 4BA or approx. 6mm but first remove the two wired spade connections to the motor before removing the four securing bolts, this will allow the heavy reel motor to be removed from the reel deck and place to one side... All being well you should have these parts removed.
