  2. Im trying to fix a m1a board,no batt damage but i dont have a scope or fancy gadgets so will replace in order what i think it is.starting with the ram.Great work bob.i do know its not easy

Thank you so much to Phil1974 really has put a smile on my face, the power of the mecca & community I got a surprise in the post, where he had been reading my post & thought of me & my Stop the clock project. Ill take better pics and get in on here at some point, if anyone need info from it please do message ill take some pictures, before i upload it i want to try to get it scanned correctly on a bigger scanner.

  8. I've had it a few times. Even 20 new boards won't help it if they're corrupt or been put in the wrong way. Hope that helps mate

  9. put a meter on it it should bleep all so have you buzzed them tracks to see if they are broken

  10. Just about, there is still some fiddling to do. Wont work in MFME properly , but it looks like it runs on real hardware!!

When I was working on M1 boards I had made up some small one chip rom boards so it was a lot better to get to the chips that were under the flat program card which normally covers the chips you need to get to. (These I designed had made for the functional test unit, but they work well for board repairing too!)
