    Another update. I scanned and uploaded some more pdf docs yesterday. I've also just tried photographing some schematics, but I'm not that happy with the results. I might see if I can get them scanned professionally. They range in size from A2 to A0 and beyond. The largest being 'Hot Dog', which measures 180 x 82 cm. 😲

    I have recently joined, after leaving the trade some years ago and having a garage clear out I have discovered many parts to give away. This will include at least an MPU4, Mars mechs, other boards and some manuals, from memory. If anyone is interested please contact me.

    Myself personally I wouldn’t put led’s in an old classic it just wouldn’t look right the fluorescent tubes give it the warm light look as it should have been ,,

    But have you seen the cost??? Scandalous! Much better to buy from cowboys or Indians from sheds, garages, lockups or outhouses. Maybe even oasthouses. And what's this after market service that you speak of. Is it a warranty of sorts??? Ooh it's so intriguing! 😁

    Leds might be a bit kinder on the plastics. Less UV and heat. I guess it depends if you have a colour temperature of led that you like....the old flos were kinda warm white
