  1. Past hour
  2. Maybe a stuck switch? Or one of the coin switches stuck down?
  3. Today
  4. So, impatience got the better of me. Checked the grounds, and everything is where it should be. Powered up.. nothing I noticed a small service switch. Turned that on. It booted, with the door open. Nice attract mode. Pressed the service switch, 10 credits, but the start button is dead??.I press the door close switch.. and it alarms out. See below. Any ideas?? 5. The psu is not Rifa style, normally they are solid! Little bit of work to do, but congrats on getting it! Will be good to see it up and running
  6. Good eye, that is a sticker. It says "for service call this number" Usually the game cart could be a clue. But there's no marks on that either Statto
  7. They used to put a pcp sticker over the lucky strike on the coin mech panel on the mpu3 clubbers pcp used for conversions ,I used to peel them back to have a peek to see what they used to be…what does the sticker say top left corner? Can’t make out if it’s an operator sticker or an auction number or something..

  9. Well..I have been chasing this machine, for the last decade. I missed it, on marketplace in 2015, and it recently turned up again, in Detroit. And even then, the seller has been very hard to get hold of. It's a rebuild of Lucky Strike So, a 400 mile round road trip this morning, to Detroit. The cabinet is in good shape. Things that are missing. The individual coin transfer chute, from the mech to the tubes. No back door. I haven't powered it up, as the power supply probably needs a good looking at, and this is a Rifa cap style PSU??. Anything else I need to know, before powering it up? Can't believe I actually own this, let's hope, I can get it, to work
  10. Razzle is great game ,the best mpu3 tall cab game in my opinion. Well worth the wait .
  11. I know Mike, purchase date was 14th December! Hopefully worth the wait
  12. Like Mike b has mentioned ,have you tried the dip settings between 5p/10p . Make sure all solenoids have the red dot with the double white common wires attached to terminal and the single coloured wire to the other terminal .I can only see two solenoids but both look correct. Does this machine have 2x50p solenoids or one ? Is there a pound payout solenoids and 20p ?most barcrest mpu3 clubbers started life with 50p payout only with 2x 50p tubes .but the later mpu3 clubbers were converted to accept and pay £s so hence the reason why a few people above have mentioned the rom type or version .

  14. Hey Carlos, If you're after something cheap, I'd probably avoid anything with a redemption ticket dispenser. Whilst these machines can be found cheap enough, the ticket refills aren't easy to come by in lone batches. That being said, there are switches that can be bought to reduce the payout, and this can open the door to some less common games on regular boards.
  15. At last this is arriving on Monday!
  16. Hello all. Absolutely love the old 2p play fruit machines and that whole period. Recently visited Red Rose Bowl in Preston - Fantastic place and I will definitely be going again soon. Personal favourites are 2p Bank Raid, Spoof, Win-a-Gain and Rat Race.
  17. That sounds like some sort of primitive lady pleasing device! Im looking at the wiring-one of the spade connectors is on a chain(the one you have removed)... does that go to the other solenoids that are also firing? That could be a clue. Can you take a pic of how the other solenoids are wired... or maybe someone else can validate the wiring is correct. Take it these are +50V(ish) AC drives for the solenoids? Seems like there could be too much current draw for them to stop firing.
  18. Why don’t you put your old roms on you working cart?
  19. Agreed, cart can be sorted easily enough. 👍
  20. Not that I can see. Just looked at the auction and at £500 in non-working condition I can't see them becoming available any time soon!
  21. Not much to the carts, roms are easily programmed and maybe a buffer chip or two
  22. Hi found some decent mages from eBay for this machine was wondering do we have the roms for it for emulation purposes thanks in advance v666
  23. Fair enough, I do have another cart for SweepStake but it's currently faulty and don't know anyone currently that can repair them.
