    Came across this short film about holidaying in Blackpool in 1978.around the 3min mark there is a nice clip of a BIG BEN fruit machine .use to remember these a lot .possibly in coral island as the bingo was before the clip.

    100% with you on that. while we had loads of problems back then I would definitely be on that bus back to the mid 70s and do it all again(probably up to the end of the 90s on a continuous loop).

    Certainly is jase and yeah I'd give my right bollock to go back to the 70s and 80s .I'm sure it wasn't all good but I'm certain it was better then than it is now that's for sure !

    Those ice creams that size would cost you a tenner now Seriously though, I think we should all be thankful that we grew up around times like this, if you look at the shite we have in our world today it makes one want to build a time machine to go back. Love the vid Nick, nice bit of nostalgia.

    Thanks for the video Nick, how things have changed unfortunately most seaside resorts are shocking , as children I think we all visited such places at least once a year for our holidays,, it’s sad to see the places now,, you only have to go a couple of streets back from Blackpool sea front to see boarded up houses and homeless people and the filthy areas..

    Awesome... thanks very much Gents. Yeah this one has all 3 of those mods. The horrible diode I can just make out 1N... guessing it's probably a 4148? Pretty funny looking at the Z80 I was 3 weeks old when it was made!

    There is a horrible-looking diode across T68. A 104 ceramic disc cap is on the back of the Z80. The tant on across the 20V and 0V pins on PL2 is 10uF 35V. Hope this helps mate! 😊
