  5. Great work again bob and there's no end to the 3d printing capabilities. The mpu3 boards seem somewhat wrong without the cart surround protector so a very worthy project .

  7. Last week
  8. I have a few 80s mpu4 game cards... I'll.check and let u know tomorrow ..
  9. It's a tantalum capacitor so there's a good chance it has! Snip it off and try it again.
  10. They shouldn't run hot, sounds like a chip has failed unless C1 has gone short?
  11. Will try thanks. The board got really hot after being plugged in for a few seconds.
  12. or take the roms out one at a time and clean the pins but make sure thay go back in the right way

  15. My last visit was great. I did a tour video to update you all.
  16. Your going to need to take a picture of the original card, there are a few different sorts!
  17. Hi all after some great advice here it appears I need a replacement program card for my mpu4 board. Think it is a mod2 but the machine is an 80s "stop the clock". Thank you all
  18. Hello everyone. First of all, I want to apologize because I don't speak the language of William Shakespeare. And everything I write is translated with Google. Let me introduce myself: Jean-Michel, 68 years old. French. A little fan of jukeboxes, pinball machines, and slot machines. I have two Barcrests and a Novomatic. A 1982 Barcrest Ambassador. I registered on your site to find information and probably ask questions. Thank you for your welcome and sorry for my poor English.

  21. Never thought of that Bob will check
  22. Must be that chip assuming the power is OK to it of course.
  23. Have ordered some 74ls14's hopefully that's the issue
  24. yes just put it in the working machine and see if it boots up
  25. Thanks guys, is the program card the board that sticks out of the main board and are they transferable between machines? The dodgy one is a "stop the clock" and the other one is a "flash cash". Thanks
  26. I have had that very fault with a program card before, have you tried a card from another machine?
