  1. I saw someone trying to track down some ROMs the other week over on Desert Island Fruits, so I've mirrored @Geddy's big fruit machine ROM collection to the Internet Archive. I can periodically upload a fresh copy to overwrite the old one... since we've got the publicly accessible Community Drive (see Dif for more info on this project), this seemed like a good companion resource Link is here: https://tinyurl.com/3jhzbueb

  2. That is awesome stuff, and will bring some life into machines, that were long destined to sit, and to be scrapped. My duff beer guide, thankfully I removed the battery before any acid damage was evident, but if I need a replacement..well at least I know there is an option Statto

  3. I did already add the link in my forum signature over on Dif: Not exactly one of my projects since it's simply a one-off upload of @Geddy's incredible work, but it's such a valuable Community Resource I felt it warranted a place among the other project links! I did also post a new thread about it in the Dif Resources section: https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/topic/16850-fruit-machine-rom-archive/ I just looked it up, and there's no way to post a raw URL link in a google drive, you can only post links to other google drives. So no way to create a direct link right now. I've added a text doc, with just a link to the Community Drive so far... I can add more links, open to suggestions

  4. More Barcrest Token goodness in the form of the iconic Cash Counter the true skill players game This is probably the third, forth or maybe fifth time i've made this, originally made the "other" version back in 2013/14 then this "alternative" cab version which at the time was a mini 1024wdx using the real lit machine images instead of just photoshop so its more authentic to the real machine in lighting techniques. i longed to make it for mfme6/-20, but lost the starter images a long time ago. Fast Forward to 2024 and along comes @johnparker007 with the original mini art upscaled which he's done a brilliant job with so here it is the final/final edition from me (unless the other cabinet real images come to light lol) A super Large edition!!!! Enjoy and Happy Gaming all over again Cash Counter (Final) Alternative Cabinet Upscaled Dx.zip

  5. Float down the Nile and search the pyramids, Will you raid the tomb for its treasure or be cursed and lose the lot!! Thanks goto @hitthesix for the previous classic layout @infection - images Now onto the layout itself, this layout has a few minor problems. Firstly like the Classic layout beforehand, the Main LCD screen in the centre isn't Emulatable Atm so a fair bit of info won't show as in Let Em spin, hi lo reel is lit, and find my treasures!! also some features rely on the text so its guess work on our part!! For the main "find my treasures" the logo will flash. Finally the Start / Collect button should spin the reels and collect the bank, but couldn't workout how to make a dual functioning button, so to get around this the Collect button is underneath. you can drag the button off-screen and press "C" to collect winnings.. if anybody knows how to make it dual buttons let us know via a topic? Shortcuts are as standard Start = Spacebar Collect = Cancel = ` Holds = 1,2,3 Exchange = E £1 = 0, 20p token = 9 Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!! Secrets Golden Nile £6 Dx.zip

  6. @hitthesix hacked a rom to make it £4.80/20p so rearranged the original art i had to accommodate the "newer" winplan single joker on the winline acts as a wild, two jokers on the winline doubles the win to a max £4.80 ALL CASH whether the winplan is correct or not it plays ok, the token input doesn't work for some reason so op'ped for 20p cash input the jackpot tune also doesn't play apart from that all fine Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!! Project's Jokers Wild £4.80 Dx.zip

  11. Next up is a layout i did way back on 23/09/2012 probably one of my first dx's or at least only Ten days from first starting out as a creator thanks to @johnparker007 upscaling the original Off/On images/reels its had a makeover Also Thanks to Steve's Fruities for the 5 yr old youtube video of which i nabbed screenies for the buttons and various text overlays and the add1-2 stop symbols The original flyer was very light but since then i've added new buttons, text and new green seven segs for the bank how they should be.. not had a token jackpot out of it yet so not sure if the coin effects are right for tokens Enjoy all over again and Happy Gaming!!!!
