the sequence is, coin inserted, the weight and tip checks coin diameter, thickness and slows the coin down to then 'bounce' on a dividing plate to bounce towards the credit slot, or the reject slot if the coin is to light in weight. careful adjustment is all that is needed, unless the mech has been butchered to just let the coin drop straight through! then your need to source a new s10 mech

I believe I used a 'carpenters pincers' either side on the top section, the aim was to like pop the top off! but luckily it broke off the way it did and all was good! thats the only one i have ever done, never had the need to any since

Hi fellas. Has anyone ever stripped an Eprom? I sware I've heard a rumours someone did it once on here? Ive picked up a machine and the sound eprom is fried. M27c801 (epoch) global Operation Club. The Rom file has never been uploaded as far as I can tell. The programmer just errors with a +vcc pin error... I guess its probably be fitted backwards at some point. I can see the internal +vcc bonding wire is broken through the quartz window- My question has anyone got a nice technique for getting the quartz out!?!?

Evening all, I have been wanting a s&g for a very long time! I have a tuppenny cracker which I can convert back, I have the top glass also, I'm now on the hunt for a bottom glass, small side glass, program card, and reels / reel bands, I would love to get this one rebuilt, to add to the collection. Is anyone in a position to help please? Let me know Much appreciated Mike
