  1. I’ve had an SRU Lite a Nudge deluxe for a while now, the machine has been perfect and has never missed a beat. I recently bought an SRU Eachway Nudger and this machine has been a bit of a pain to get in to a reliable playable state, I’ve been working through the faults and I’m getting there. While I have been working on the Eachway Nudger I have started to get some spares together. I managed to get a spare program card, in looking at the card and after recently getting some boards made for the 2708 programmer project from PCBway in china I thought I’d give it a try. First step was to strip the board and get back to the base pcb. Then scan the blank pcb to get the Gerber files created.

  3. your welcome It wasn't about the money for me either, I had the same vision to help the community, only the community gets jealous you can do things they can't and do what they can to bring you down even though you make no money you still get accused of "making coin from poor collectors". Just be aware, some on here I thought was good, just to loose out on a £200+ cheque (Back ten years ago era) that I never actually got the funds on, I stupidly took a cheque when I had said it was cash only! still you live and learn. Everyone wants to be your best mate when you can do things to help them! but they are not! Friends I do things still for now I can count on one hand! everyone else its a 'no from me' lol good luck in your quest, I think your find non treated edge connectors won't last long, ask anyone that's ever lifted a coper track off the board, they will tell you copper tracks are very soft and easy to lift!

  4. Thanks for the insight and information on the gold plating. Good to learn. I will explore the hard gold option if I get any more made. For me it’s not about money, just trying to help the community to find a solution. I’ll try the boards in my machine then decide.

  5. Agreed. I did a service on the reel studs and the drive but the solenoids seemed ok so wanted to minimise the effort at this stage to ensure all the electronic functions were ok and I can always pop the deck out to get the rest done when back in the den. 👍

  6. Re fitted the coin mechs, adjusted and tested with old 50p and 10p coins, all worked fine. Test play went well, just need a minor adjustments to the solenoid on reel 3 as its not always engaging fully. I'll leave that to Dan to sort later. Other than the reel adjustment the machine is back up and running, ready for to go home and join Dan's electro mechanical collection.
