  4. I'll have a look in my stash and see if I have a suitable eprom (needs a 27C040 or equivalent) and burn it off for you. Might take a couple of days though, I've got a lot on at the moment. If anyone else here could volunteer in the meantime, then go for it!
  5. ok thank you but what do i do now ??? what do i need to get it on to the rom chip for the machine please
  6. You are lucky! ROM attached, checksum matches your label. csv0-07.bin
  7. Love the firing a coin from both tubes at a time..
  8. This is what is on it
  9. Can you post a photo of the label that's on the faulty EPROM please? It will help identify what code needs to be on it.
  10. Hi looking for a rare red gaming mpu6 file aliens vs predator if anyone can help many thanks in advance
  11. Ok , Ive made a right mess of this! is there anyone on here please who can help me with this and burn another for me??
  12. i acquired this project about a year ago and only just got round to looking at it properly. It is a crystal club reel bingo which had been stuck in some ones shed localy for years and praticaly free so i had it. I did notice when i first got it that the acid damage was severe so i did get a mother board and processor card of flea bay (from decent sellers and advertised as serviced / working). So on the old cards the status light did bugger all (power supply is ok). With the new boards when you turn it on you wait around 10 secs and then the status light will come on and light steadily for around 5 seconds go off for what seems light 30 secs and then come back on for 5 or longer again (timings not that accurate, just observation), occasionaly it might flash a couple of times inbetween. Is this secret impact code trying to tell me something or just gobbeldy gook. Any pointers greatly appreciated. Cheers Jim
  13. Yesterday
  14. If you put the EPROM in upside down you'll have killed that as well. Unless someone can burn another one for you then it's game over.
  15. Ok so I’ve fitted the new chips and still nothing , nothing happening at all I’ve got red and green light on on the board and that’s it , if. I take the middle chip out the one that says bar top I then get just a green light so I wonder if I put that one in upside down too
  16. You need to find a cowboy with a shed. What’s the issue?

  19. Hi all I recently discovered some old Bell Fruit documents and posted about it in Ron's Electro Club.. Bell Fruit Documents - RONS ELECTRO CLUB - The MPU Mecca Some of the documents relate to (Black Box) MPUs and other later stuff, so I thought I would mention it here as well. 24. UT62256PC-70LL are standard 256k by 8-bit 70ns RAM chips. Should be some or an equivalent on eBay. Here you go.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296374652026 No idea if they're genuine or not, you have to take pot luck with that kind of thing on eBay these days. For the sake of £19 it's got to be wort a try? Just make sure you put them the right way up and at the bottom of the socket with the empty four holes at the top.
