You loved that little paragraph in that manual didn’t you …🍋
-
That makes sense now, I also never noticed the quantity of 3. Fair play mark I wanted to buy them and had a good 10 mins to ponder I hope they are saved and put back out there. i have had a few lucky buys over the years the latest being razzle dazzle for 50 quid! And £120 to get it here. its great there is still stuff out there to be saved

It's to do with the rise of "unscrupulous individuals" at the time! 😉

I’ve been noticing this a lot lately you have machines from 1984 with mechs from the late 90s on them,I have a cash zone which should have the original ms115 fitted from 1990 that has an me126dfx fitted….ms115 seems virtually extinct..
-
Thanks again Bob, so pin4 IC23 is low as expected, maybe it's a locked on payout line but all seems well with the transistor both pre drive and the bigger transistors, I may be able to borrow a hopper driver board to try and see what happens. Thanks Ronnie

So as you can see, it was way after mine. it was sellers mistake, not mine or yours. People make mistakes, that’s life
-
You did nothing wrong, I know that. I can see things from your POV aswell, and how it’d look. Thats why I came to explain, or comments would be taken as gospel and believed. No hard feelings from me at all, I’ve got a great long weekend starting in a few hours, and the sun is out too. Let’s all get on with our lives 👍🏻

10.23 was my purchase time..
-
Fair enough I stand corrected..
-
It’s always entertaining reading conspiracies, and seeing people take them as gospel online 😂😂 I was in America last week, and were posts about me picking stuff up in England, not for the first time - I’m often away…. So, I’ll explain things - not because I have to, but because I want to. Yes, I got the machines, but not how many of you have dreamed up - and I can even prove it, so I’ll look forward to multiple laugh reacts and to be met in return by some 50-60 year old entitled brats, who are still stuck in the past (Not you Nifty) As you all saw, the machines were at £156(with eBay fees) as a buy it now for all three. However, the seller listed the QUANTITY as 3… meaning 3 people can buy the same listing. This isn’t my fault, this isn’t NiftyNudgers fault, it was a mistake by the seller. If you look at your purchase time nifty, I suspect it’ll be around 22:15…. However my purchase time was BEFORE THAT - again, I can prove this… so seller did the correct thing after realise their mistake - and let the first buyer have them…. No, I didn’t offer more - as you’ll see on the pics below. dont believe everything you read online. There’s just a tiny chance there’s a few bitter people out there who will invent narrative as they’ve nothing else going on. First screenshot shows multiple quantity. second shows the time I bought the listing. Life’s too short.

I remember 18 months ago when i bagged a Winsprint for £50(buy it now). It was a Sunday evening and i had arranged to pick it up on the Monday evening. That was one nervous 24 hours. There is nothing like that feeling when you have loaded it in the van and are just driving away.

Pin 5 (IC23) is at ground anyway. Pin 4 comes off of IC24 pin 6. The diagram is wrong here as it shows pin 3. So being as it's used as a timer it should change state after a few seconds, I think low?
-
So removing the pin 1 wire state changed to hopper jammed, tried another hopper no joy The 138 the only thing I can fathom is two of the enable pins are low pins 4 and 5, I may as well change out the 138 as not sure what else to do Cheers Ronnie
-
Thanks jimxxx I will work through that see if I can narrow it down
-
Below is the function chart for the 138 which might give you more of a clue as to what the inputs / outputs are doing and their function. Below is some information on the hopper, something i would try if i had the machine in front of me (probably out of desperation is disconnect the supply to the hopper (pin 1 only 24v) and see if it trys to boot any further. It may or may not but worth a try for how long it takes. I have just done a board here with very mild battery damage, just a clean up. Put it back in the machine and all ok apart from the seven segs were all missing one segment and the last three were not working at all. Back out removed and tested associated ics (all ok ). Put it back in to probe it and bugger me worked and has continued to do so. Thats what i hate. Still seems like it is some contamination and or leaky component causing it.

Some fucking scummy dealer. It will all come out in the wash, will be up for sale for £££££ soon once they've paid someone a fortune to fix it for them! 🤣
-
That’s shit! I have been there too with a silly price lineup. Someone must have offered him a grand or something
-
I won them and now I’m getting all the bollocks that there now not available somebody else won them and not me!! After getting the collection address everything….what a fucking carry on..
-
The reason the seller has cancelled the sale is because it's you! The reason he's cancelled people you know is because they are trying to get stuff for you. I have done the same, as don't want anything I'm selling to go to you. It must happen to you a lot 🤣
-
Let's hope they haven't gone to the bakery
