Make sure someone has not oiled the pivot pin in the past, this should be clean, dry and free moving, also clean the coin path, and a quick wipe with wax polish does wonders, it will slow the coin down if its dirty or rusty and prevent it swinging in the cradle

Yes this one allows the coin to drop int the first cradle half way then it goes no further. Doesn't even get to the magnet......

when you get them right they work every time and it is most satisfying they are working as they should

Cool!! good luck with it! 2p ones are the easiest to do as they don't involve any thickness change like 10p did! prob just removing the magnet will be good enough I would think, perhaps adjustment of the 'bounce' bar but if toy do , make a note or photograph it first so you can put it back exactly if it all goes 'Pete tong' lol

I say do it properly, once you have botched it by doing that, it can never be put right without replacing it when you pass the machine on. Best to remove the magnet and realign it back up. it is not that difficult, the S10 manual explains how to do it.

Yet again doing up a Hit Money, 2p Mech will not let the coin drop past the first weighted part. I remember that removing magnets etc is a thing, I also remember Steve saying about how to remove a part so all coins drop through and register which is fine for me..... Can I find it on here? No! 🙂 Any help with where the info is so I can get this taking 2p coins would be great! Ive done it before but cannot remember how I did it....... Thanks all, still PCP'ing 🙂

That is awesome stuff, and will bring some life into machines, that were long destined to sit, and to be scrapped. My duff beer guide, thankfully I removed the battery before any acid damage was evident, but if I need a replacement..well at least I know there is an option Statto
