Hi, i assume you mean you are getting the error screen, if so at the bottom of any page where it says theme, click on it and change it to new(default).

Thanks for that, could point me to the issue on big shot I will have a good look
-
Dont know if this helps or hinders but below is the razzle connections showing 10p never enabled but it does show the inhibit lines which maybe of some help.

trying for the second time, since i still got no acces

Just checked all the buttons and they are correct, I'm now wondering if ME126 is compatible with mpu3 but that seems silly so this mech in big shot won't take tens will take a fifty but no credit given, it was giving credit for a fifty but has stopped, takes 20, and pound ok. Same mech in razzle won't take tens but takes all else correctly 20, 50 and pound, but when I first tried it in razzle it took tens also I think! But Razzle has an S10 for 10p's so maybe inhibited on the mars? Found another ME126 which was also updated by Tim Harrison, in big shot will only take a pound in razzle takes all apart from 10p which may be correct as razzle has an S10 for 10p. I'm thinking these opto tube sensors are playing some part in this! Because before I changed the 10p one it would not take any coins! My brain is numb! Thanks Ronnie

Thanks for the imput guys Bob I will check those switches first today thanks Graham, it's a multi mech so electronic, but the token slot is S10 and credits as it should, thanks Nick, No I never removed the loom from big shot but did compare the pin voltages to razzle they were the same and fuse was intact, thanks

Good evening. Very good work. It's lucky the sides are longer. Cheers!

sulzerned started following Adders & Ladders Base Replacement and MPU3 multi mech issue!
-
Just a thought ronnie but you did say you changed the mech cable? Did you try that cable in another machine? Also those cables do have a fuse in some cases and needs to be working and not blown obviously so assumed you checked it .

Great job done and ive done a few myself over the years .even the new rubber is still easily obtainable .ive used corner blocks of wood to strengthen the frame and then used ply to cover the whole area then out the castors on but your plank method works just as well .👍👍

Worth removing the wires from the coin switch and phsically touching them together, see what happens.
-
They would, all the bleep means is it's changing state but if the state is wrong... could be way off the mark here but thought I'd chuck it in the mix.
-
Thanks bob I will check that but I think all the button presses bleeped in test
-
Just guessing but are are the micro switch connectors on the correct tabs ie the no and nc haven't got switched?
-
That’s what I thought, the sensor would lock out pounds of tube low. No signs of bodged wiring all look factory, I tried the mech back Razzle and guess what? Won’t take 10p but credits for 50p! Maybe the mech is iffy but I used it for a long time in hi roller with no issues. i removed the black mpu plug still no 10p acceptance. Took a pic of the black switch diagram

What is the history of the machine, it sounds like it has had a fault in the past and someone has had a go and made it worse. I would have thought it would always take 10ps no matter what the sensor says, it just stops it giving change out for the 50p or alters the payouts to stop the tube running empty.

Been at this 2 days! A known tested me126 would not take any coins in my big shot, the mech was tried in razzle dazzle and took all coins no problem. So I swapped the mpu over, still the same, I then swapped the mech loom still the same. So a culprit seems to be the 10p tube sensor, they are the starpoint opto type, swapping that out it would take all coins but not 10p! And now will take a 50p but not give credits! Mpu swapped again same result, no 10p and 50p no credit given my head is done in! Fairly sure it’s not an mpu issue or the coin mech, might be these level sensors but I’m out of ideas? Any help most welcome thanks Ronnie

Nice work. i did a similar thing with a Nudges Unlimited a few years ago. Thats one thing I like about that type of cab(the part of a cab that usually rots away is quite easily replaced and it’s just coloured black rather that a hard to match veneer).

It's all about the bass! Nice work and needs to be good to keep the sides from popping out the dowels! I have just dome same for big shot

A bit more success today. The last couple of days I've been trying to get a 4x20 LCD to work instead of a VFD for the Chico game. The VFD's are so expensive so having one for a spare is not on but being as LCD's are under a fiver it made sense to try and use that. The good old Arduino was used as the interface between the board and the LCD My coding skills for the Arduino are somewhat basic so my old mate Duckduckgo AI came to my rescue. It still took a long time of trying various offerings of code before I found one that would actually work. The thing with AI you have to be so specific on what you want it to do but once I gave it all the right bits of info it came up trumps. Not exactly 100% but good enough to know it's working. https://youtube.com/shorts/7uQOyLWrSpU

I'm always amazed by these old techs, not a transistor in sight! Thanks chaps.
