    Traced the orange wire back to the diode board connected to the 10p and 50p in coin inputs. thanks @riche100 for the warlord manual. Checked the diodes and all was fine, still the same situation with the machine not booting properly with the orange wire connected. Checked the connections to the coin mechs and found that the 10p mech had been wired across the normally closed contacts and the 50p on the normally open. Switched the 10p wiring back to normally open and the machine booted up. Should have checked that at the start..
