  1. Past hour
  2. the usual is someone previously has mangled to remove the weight on the tipping cradle, this is what slows the coin down on s10. I did guide somewhere on hear on how to adjust the mecs, but it might not be around now. but all the adjustments are in the s10 manual
  3. Thanks Andrew will need to figure a way to slow down the coin through the s10, it can be a pig when you start messing with them
  4. Today
  5. if the 'pulse' from the coin is too quick it is likely the mpu won't see it, it scans the inputs and the pulse has to be no longer then 200ms or they alarm, 100ms is recommended as the average pulse, this is the timings that come automatically from a mars coin mech.
  6. Hi again, you have had several replies to your other posts, i think the problem may be that you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and change the theme to NEW DEFAULT. It is an age old problem that causes hassle for lots of newcomers but never seems to get sorted.
  7. If it is the capacitor it would be C24, i assume the nudge up buttons are working fine all the time which if they are would eliminate the enable line on B13. I would have a look and check the connections on the black plug and socket, also if you can unplug the black and put a meter (preferably moving coil meter) across pin 13 and 8 and see if you get a reading every time you drop a 20p through. Changing subject and out of interest, did you manage to sort that BWB volcano in the end.
  8. Hello Gentlemen and Community, My user name is WILD ADDER from Switzerland. I purchased a WILD ADDER with MPU 1, 15years ago. Now, i find the time for Restauration. This Forum , seems like, is the only way to got some additional Informations on Technical Issues , wirings , Spare Parts to finalize my project. The Machine called WILD ADDER, no battery on MPU 1 , only mechanical counters. The COIN INSERT COUNTER mechanical is already adjusted to Swiss Currency and BARCREST Tokens. Here is what i`m searching for: - Connectors like Plugs... THIS FORUM HAS A SERVER PROBLEM......Sorry to POST again. Find a Path. Not sure how we should communicate but maybe once a day -Problem solved-
  9. This machine has all mechanical mechs and the 20p one is not always giving a credit! I changed the micro switch but no change, I’m wondering if it’s one of those disc capacitors is an issue, the switch is on the black plug, I also wondered if maybe the coin was travelling too fast through the mech? So maybe it misses 1 in 5 coins at worst. I seem to remember a previous switch issue on another board and it was one of those disc caps I think there is 5 or so in a row. thanks Ronnie

  13. Hi, and welcome. It sounds like you have a few parts missing from your description. Could you post some photos of the front and the inside of the machine and the areas you need parts for so we have an idea of what we are looking at. Mpu1 did not require a battery as they were basically a mechanical machine with a few electronic gimmicks thrown in. Date i imagine would be late 78-80

Received the voltage regulator today de-soldered the old one fitted the new one still no change, I think I might be about finished with this as to get it working might be above my pay grade. If anyone wants to have a go at looking at the board it would be much appreciated. Thanks again Brian.

Hi, just google L7805CV, tons available from eBay and everywhere. it is going to cost you a fiver for a 50p item by the time postage is applied but you may get a few extra on ebay for the same price. Try to stick with reputable British sellers and avoid the Chinesium ones.

Well back from holiday so back into this and hopefully getting this back up and running, where do most people buy a regulator from and what type. Also if someone wants to have a go at fixing the board I don't have a problem paying for your time and parts. I'm getting a couple of machines over the next couple of weeks so if I can't get it working it might get scrapped as I'll be running out of space and would be a shame. Cheers Brian
