  2. Hi all, I am a new member here so hello to all! I have a good collection of Fruit Machine Top Boxes, Lights, Toppers... I have just acquired an LED T7 Top Box (photos attached) the question is: I do not have a T7 terminal to connect this too. I have opened up the top box to see if it could be connected directly into UK mains (just to get the lights working for the man cave) by way of an adapter perhaps? Does anyone have any idea or which adapter i need? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Jay
  3. Hi all as a man of a certain age I used to like line up and similar fruit machines. I have finally put something similar up as a working android app on Google play store if anyone is interested! it's called barslots from braysoft and any feedback constructive comments to improve it would be welcome. Not sure if I am allowed to put link up so won't do as yet, this is v1. 0 first release so be kind!!! 😉
  4. I hope someone can help me I've got an elvis sit down fruit machine but when I load it up the screen seems to be trying to show 2 screens together and as such I can't see if there's an error code displaying? Any help will be greatly appreciated
  5. Hello, I'm hoping someone can help. I've got a Popeye system 5 fruit machine. When the sounds play some seem to be out of sync to the machine. Is this a problem with the sound rom and if so is anyone able to burn a new one? Kind regards, Steve
  6. Hello I'm hoping someone can help me I have a maygay on the buses fruit machine. When it switches on it seems to set but when it gets to gameplay it resets itself and this happens every time. Hope someone can help
  7. Hi, Here's the beginning of my second MPU4 mod4 restoration for a Barcrest Ambassador Gum 1000 : this board was the worst of the 4 boards, really nasty battery leakage, lot's of broken tracks. Burn signs on both ULN2803A and resistor pack 22k. I'll come back with the fix list asap. Cheers

    Selling

Hello all. If I want to sell a 1950s/60s fruit machine I only have 1 and it is for family sort of thing will I need to get a gaming license. Sorry if this has been asked before I could not find the question. Thanks John.
  9. My latest addition to my collection is this JPM "Play Bingo" £150 Jackpot Essentially a higher jackpot version of "Reel Bingo" which was £60 or £100 jackpot As you can see, it was filthy when I picked it up yesterday. I have given it a "stage 1" clean. Buttons to come off later for a proper clean. There were no keys, so had to drill the locks and I was suprised to find it as a front opener. I have 3 others in this cab and all are rear openers Love the way it opens in 3 parts and easy to get at everything. Why did they abandon this method? Reels need cleaning. One has come "unstuck" but is not damaged. Bonus in that there was half a tube of 10p's After cleaning (Pic 4) I am pleased to report the glass is superb, lots of chrome detail in the artwork and it has not corroded at all The metalwork is pitted as usual, but is good enough for me Slightly annoying that it only holds £120 in pound coins, then pays 50p's, the later machines I have have 2 x pound coin tubes. It also means I have to ensure I fit a mech that takes 10's and 50's. I can mod it and fit one of the longer tubes I have spare, they are about £150 capacity. I did that on my blackjack club and it pays £148 in pound coins now! First "proper" job will be to replace the rifa's in the PSU and check the board - will do that after me dinner! Phil.
  10. Hi, does anyone know where I can find a manual for an Impulse “Wipe Out “fruit machine, I am only after the manual for the dip switch settings on the epoch board, I have the Tech manual but not the one for this game play. Any Help will be much appreciated. Cheers. Peter.
  11. Some of you may have seen this come up on gumtree. It was sold, but they got let down and I got lucky! especially as I was within 20 miles today and was cheap as chips Unusual machine, made by Video fruit service, £100 JP with dual stake and 2 sets of prizes with each stake? I was surprised to find it runs on MPU3, so should be fixable with a bit of help.... Looks in great condition - looking forward to having this running I haven't taken the board out yet - first job - to see how bad it is
  12. Firstly, a huge thanks to "Player" who picked this up for me yesterday (i'll be returning the favour shortly!) Been wanting one of these since I started collecting - I do like some AWP's you know! It plays ok, but the lamp mask is falling apart and has come away from the glass - should be a pain in the arse with all those bulbs! Love the bulb matrix at the top for what look like LED's for the money bank It is on £6/5p all cash - I would like to convert back to original £6 tokens/20p (or whatever the stake was) if the roms are available The issue would be the connectors are missing for the token tubes. I would also want to try to re-route 20p's into these tubes so I don't have to use actual tokens It's an 8 way router so should be possible - the whole coin handling looks like BFM scorp 2 Anyone know what the "option" switch is on the psu? Is there a manual floating about for this tech? Battery has started leaking, so having that off straight away! There is an issue with some lamps lighting when they shouldn't. When you get 3 cherries on the trail, it lights the oranges too Level 2 on the maze lights level 3 too along the top section - I'll do a video at some point Looking forward to working on this, but back to work now! Phil.
  13. I have just taken delivery of a lovely machine It is NOT A CLUBBER! A couple of picture clues
  14. hi ppl this is my first post on any forum so hope its in the right place and im doing it right lol. after reading a lot of forums cant find my answer lets start from the top i will give as much info as poss i bought a luxor casino maygay for £20 it had the dreaded 6.0 met error so i cleaned the battery area as it had leaked and snipped it out and wired it up away from the board then still had error then twigged its probs because the guy before was a donut and cut the meters off i just connected all the wires togeather the 4 blues and 1 white then hey presto worked reconised coins put them in the right place played properly but wont pay out and tested everything in test mode hopper still dosnt work however when i put my hand in and press the button in the hopper that registers the coins exiting the hopper, the machine reconised it. so im a bit stumped to as why its not working is there anyway to test the motor in the hopper please help has it got something to do with the meters not wired correctly? will up load picks of hopper wiring and meter wiring. thnx in advance for any answers
  15. Had this machine for a while, but had no motivation to repair! As you can see the artwork is really bad. If you touch any of it, it just flakes off Anyway, a MASSIVE thank you to Mike (FruitSim) who kindly let me have a set of glasses for the machine Phil.
  16. Got this Electro "Club Double" by Lyngard Automatics Never had an electro before and fancied having a look at how they work! This one is dual stake, 5p/£50 and 10p/£100 and has a gamble feature I assume it achieves dual stake by paying from one tube for the low jackpot and both tubes for the high jackpot as it has 2x10p and 2x50p tubes. Not in too bad condition. Needs a good clean before I think about switching it on and I will check the transformer before connecting up the main board I can see no broken or burnt wires or relays, so hopeful To be honest, I shall probably sell it if I get it working, once i've had a play! Phil.
