Hi I used to play a lot of machines back in the late 80's and early 90's Between 1987 and 1988 I worked in Nobles in Scarborough which was under the futurist theatre I like the classic jpm machines such as big shot and machines of that era Thanks to facebook I have rediscovered some of the classic machines and being of a certain era it is good to see a number of retro arcades being set up Sean

Hi! Happy New Year to MPU Mecca and all its members. I received the 6561. I'm going to install it and take the necessary measurements for startup. I'll let you know if it starts or not. Thanks

I would like to thank you all for your help and suport. My two machines are now good working with the regent files N°2. I would like to present you my new "toy" a slot machine whose name is "Golden luck" but it's not a fruity machine. Do you think that it's possible on the forum ? Here is a picture of the roulette.

Hi, does anyone know of any cheap or dead clubbers 95-05? Or any dead epoch machines about? Thanks
-
Haha yes. I have been using the loom to test and repair mpu boards. The Wago boxes contain the 50V triacs to stop them shorting out on something (including me)

Hi Phil I'm sorted now thanks. I have the correct loom to go in the cabinet, which is the next job. I'm can see that whoever modified the original EWS to the 2p Shuffle, modified the loom to make it work. They must have reprogrammed the EPROMs to account for the lack of expansion board. I could try and re-use the loom that's fitted, but it's gonna be neater to use the right loom. Bit of a head ache, and yesterday's New Years celebrations aren't helping

Hi It's great. Nice machine.

The learning curve comes when they go wrong 🤣. Hi and welcome to the site and a Happy new year to you as well.

Cheers Nic. It's odd, because the loom (which I guess was replaced when it was converted from an EWS to a 2p Shuffle) does not have the extender board or extra loom. Fortunately I have an original EWS loom and spare extender board which I will swap out. A bit annoying though...

Yep you'll definitely need an extended board for ews. I've not got one but use to and it sits separately in the reeldeck case lid inside.

Seasons greetings tout le monde. Can someone with an Eachway shuffle please take a picture of the loom that connects to the power supply? I have an empty cabinet which used to be an EWS, and I am trying to return it to its former glory. The lamp matrix doesn't illuminate as expected, and I'm wondering if an expander board is needed. The cabinet I have has no wiring for an expander board. Cheers, Pete
