  1. Hi, I bought an old 3 reel machine, made by Summit Coin, Wales, UK. The electronics are located in a cage. I think it was produced in 1982. The MPU is a M5L8039. The soundboard has a MC6802 CPU. When I got the machine, it had acid damage, and I changed already the socket for the 5101 RAM and the chip itself, because it was bad. Also I changed a socket from one the Eproms on the MPU board. On the front is a LED display with 6 digits. When I power up the machine, several times the first two digits on the left side show "01", After that, all the digits show "00 0000". The reels do not move, and there is no sound to be heard. I tried to put in coins, but nothing happens, when the coins were put in. Can anybody explain to me, how the correct boot sequenece must be? No transistors are bad. I can check and reprogram the Eproms, but I do not have the files to check, wether the checksum is correct. The connectors are ok and I reflowed all cold solder joints. I am a pinball guy, who has repaired a lot of pinball pcb´s, but because I found no description and no schematics, I don´t know where to start the search. Can anybody help? I am located in Germany
