Are You a Spambot ?

  1. After spending my misguided teen years pumping as many Pound coins as I could find into fruit machines with the hope of the £6 jackpot -LOL I have finally bought myself some machines. I am only married a year but thankfully for now have a very understanding wife!! I picked up a circa 1992 Maygay inferno a few months back, this only cost me £20 and delivered, but has been a headache so far. This machine was dead, after the usual fuse check, I went over the PSU and found a blown resistor, a trip to maplin got me resistors and with a solder on the machine then powered. Of course as most of you people could guess, I then faced battery leakage on the motherboard, I did a very rough bridge repair with fuse wire after desoldering the battery. Machine then powered takes coins though Start button doesnt work. Does anyone know of a particular track on the Maygay M1a board that if damaged could cause this?? I bridged about 4 and done away with reel errors etc I will have a go with a silver track repair pen me thinks, I have checked micro switches and OK So apart from my introduction- if this machine is going to beat me I may have the parts if any one really wants Maygay Inferno stuff, and also I am really keen to souce Barcrest Road Hog, ideally club. I am in Northern Ireland
