  1. Hi All, I managed to get another machine that used to be reasonably common in New Zealand around the 80s. This is the poor cousin to the best machine ever - Snappy Viper. It had keys so I didn't have to drill out the locks - yay Looks like its been sitting around for a while, the previous owner never had it working I believe, MPU3 board was removed along with the reels - I do have both items though along with a set of dismantled reels. The following pictures are what I saw when opening up the back. There is a ton of ratshit - I had seen another machine recently that also was filled with ratshit and the rats had chewed the red and green reel wires to get better access to all levels (the wires in the cutout recess) However I cant see any wire chew here as yet. the plug from the psu has been converted to a block connecter, This frame - can I pull the front screen out on a hinge like a snappy? I don't think I can? I have had a look but cant yet see how, I cant see any hinge at the bottom. First step is to clean it right up and have a good look at the wiring for chewing and wires in the wrong place. I will find a wiring diagram for adders hopefully in the donators forum and go through it. I played one in Birmingham around xmas where Nick - Sulzerned - kindly had me over - Nick, you're awesome! This again showed me that Snappy was a far superior machine. This machine has a mod 1 board in it (not going - starts to initialise then goes to A reel alarm) Never seen a mod 1 board before - there are green. How hard is it to get program cards for snappy and adders? Will begin cleaning it up over the next few weeks see ya, Kev
