hi all just jined the group, and wondered if anyone can help, i have a maygay simpson fruit machine, works great till it tries to pay out, i get an alarm then a 9.1 strim code, would it be better for me to fill the hopper up about £50 of 1 pound coins before changing the hopper motor? regards jim

Hello all I am new to the forum so please be gentle with me. I know very little about fruit machine so please bear with me. I have just aquired a Maygay Simpsons fruit machine that didn't want to do anything and it was suggested that I change the main board as the battery leaks over time in storage and messes the board up. I managed to get a main board from fleabay and changed it over and hey presto it lights up and flashes etc. It went through a load of "tests" and know just sits there flashing and looking pretty. I know I obviously have to put money in it to make it work but is there a way I can disable the coin mech and have it on free play only and is there anything else I need to do regarding tests before I can use it. Any help would be very welcome Thanks
