Bars n X's....

got the repaired boards back from JPMStu and plugged it all in. Plays fine, reels spin etc BUT the hopper wont run. There is 110v coming from the PSU and this finds its way down to the Hopper Driver board BUT the damn thing wont fire the hopper.

What i need is 2 of these>>>post-313-0-35058000-1350236839_thumb.jpg

from what Andrew was saying... low voltage tells the replay to operate which allows the 110v to fire the hopper.

If anyone has any/knows where i can get them/knows of an alternative please do let me know. This is all that stands in the way of getting BaX running

I am wondering if its one like this, up to 8v to operate it to switch the 110v, it would seem logical to have a relay work when given 5v from the logic side of the mpu to fire 110v

if ya stuck you know who can test it!

where did you see this one to? Was it less that £16 lol

That went right over my head lol.

At that price and looking at the specs they do seem to fit the job at the right price!!

i did find this info on them on why there so good!! read this...

1. TTL logic circuit compatible input, DC line input.

2. Zero voltage turn-on and stochastic turn-on.

3. Apply optical isolation technology in-put and out-put.

best thing before digital TV came along i think!!
