  1. Next was the back door , the donor machine back door was not original I think it was from a jpm machine as it was a grey colour , luckily I had saved the back door from the original machine as it was not too bad and I thought I could use it at some point to make a bottom door up for another machine in the future , the only problem was the bump strips on the back were broken and the screws had rusted into the chip board so when I pulled them off they left big holes in the back of the door so I had to use some wider bump rails to cover the holes which I made up from door stop and stained black , Iโ€™m happy with the result ๐Ÿ˜ thatโ€™s enough for tonight I will do some more reports tomorrow thanks for reading ๐Ÿ‘

  3. Check the mains lead and switch to the left of the hopper first, then check the fuses on the transformer pcb behind the top glass.

  4. A UK supplier has the PIA EF68B21P also known as 68B21, 68B21P in stock currently and has more available to order when they run out of stock. https://www.cricklewoodelectronics.com/68B21.html I have ordered some for my MPU4. They say that they are the Equivalent Fairchild. Hope this helps anyone looking for them like I was

  6. Wow just read thru your restoration, top job and a machine well worthy of doing so. One day I hope to have a line up, whilst Iโ€™d prefer the original MPU3 I do like the idea of an MPU4 ๐Ÿ‘ Great job, great reading thank you

  11. Well here she is all up and running! A big you to everyone who has helped me out on this one with advise and spare parts. A big thank you to Rob T for providing me with a 10p tube and sensor in my hour if need ๐Ÿ‘ these parts are becoming more like rocking horse shit than actual rocking horse shit! I will put a vid up at some point, but jesus this one is tight, even though it is set to it's max percentage! On to the next one now, maybe a line up or I have a mpu4 supertubes to remake in a donor cab I have acquired! Haven't decided yet.
