My winter project.A 1960 united model c.Ive had the model a now nearly 2 years.This is cosmetically good,though i may spray a few bits.Not currently working and not sure why yet,but the inside workings are same as mine,so that should help.Its complete and ive only just got back with it from oxon.

  2. I think I've used Cricklewood before. This is the trouble with board repairs you never know what's fake or even worse... it works for a few hours then dies. For ages I tried to do what the legendary andrew96 does and doesn't use sockets but I've had to bite the bullet... and use then now (not for common ics but the obsolete and exotic. I defo recommend buying a logic probe too now though. For the coin acceptance fault in your mpu4 machine, follow the wiring loom from the coin mech. If you come to an induction coil wired inline, remove the spade connectors both ends and clean them up both male and female. The component just looks like a square case about 25/50mm long with spade connectors at each end. Hopefully that will do it. Had this on my mpu4 machine... sorted coins ok but was not crediting them.

  4. Already sorted it out. There was a break in the battery cable. Now it’s working fine. Thank you for your help anyway.
