Machine is telling you a bulb has blown IIRC.

So does the 20p credit lever register credit if moved by hand?

As for the 20p thing how can it register credit by hand as the door will be open 8D

Anyway i dont know how to do it by hand :P

If yours has a clear plastic cover over it, remove it and, with the back door switch taped in the closed position, you will be able to flick the metal wire lever down with your finger ... you should here the switch click ... do this a few times then check the credit display ;)

well you could have just clicked on "resources" at the top of the screen!

open circuit error can happen if you have too many blown bulbs - it will not detect the current when it runs em.

as for dr-slots, dont you dare scare him back to the "slot-tech" forum!

that place has maybe 1 post a month - maybe!

the good door switches dont need to be taped, you can pull them into a third position.

yep told him about back door switch for barcrest you can just remove one wire and the machine thinks its closed do this to all our cash doors to stop the demo play and claim

i cant remember how the old tests go

does this machine have yellow 50p coin tubes?

do you get 50p change for £1 or is it all credit?

if your coin tubes are empty lift all coin sensors up the tubes out of their slots

Hey my hero is back ;)

It has a yellow tube for 50ps yes and a blue 1 for 10ps and black one for £1s

And yes i can have the £1 for all credit or 50p credit and 50p change.

Its on £1 all credit,But did try it on 50p credit and change and that worked fine .

The machine pays out even after i empty a tube as thats what i want till i get it filled up.

Does this help at all drhero ?

no, nice old coinage!

I think I get where DS is coming from ... the machine will concentrate on filling it's tubes in a certain order ... usually 10p will take a higher priority than 20p as the machine needs 10p's to pay out small wins so if the tubes are all empty(ish) it would normally lock-out the 20p mech or simply refuse to register credit for them and return them ... sometimes the glass has lights behind artwork relating to the coins accepted and these will go out when the machine starts getting fussy about prefered coins but perhaps for some reason, the lock-out isn't working and your machine is swallowing the 20p's?

If you havn't already, try making the machine think it's tubes are all full by the method DS suggested and let us know how you get on ...

its like going back in time!

if i remember the machine locks out the 20p coin forceing you to use 10p's what i dont understand is theres no alarm if the lockouts faulty and the 20p switch is activated

in the picture you can just see the spring and plate so this should be stopping 20p coin in if my thoughts are right

move all sensors out of there slots and let us know what happens please
