Nice to put a picture to the face.  Thanks for the picture, mate. :)

Seems to be a problem with it on the latest MFME though (5.1).  The sounds don't work for some reason.  Is it the same for anyone else?  HTS's layout attached.

One for Chris to have a look at, mate.  Hopefully an easy fix.

After checking up I have not found any advertisements or pictures of it's release but, Not just this machine but any from DJE could be rare on the ground now.

DJE Engineering were a small rebuild company but did have the help of Dransfield as a distributor of their kits and machines in the early 90s.

The bad bit is Barcrest seemed to be after them from the start which finished in the high court in 1990 where Barcrest were granted an injunction against DJE from selling, leasing,or distributing machines containing Barcrest software.

Apparently when Barcrest released Cloud 9, DJE also released their machine called Silver Lining. Barcrest heard rumors that DJE were producing Silver Lining and eventually obtained a sample of the program.

The sample program was found to be virtually identical to Cloud 9, DJE had also released a machine called Bolt From The Blue which program was also found to be identical.

It appears even before this injunction, DJE were already subject to an earlier action brought by Barcrest concerning the supply of infringing conversion kits.

It did not end there as soon after Maygay were also expressed an interested in DJE conversions content.

I've deleted everything that was on the right-hand side of the layout, but I'm still not getting any sound, mate. :(  Do you have to do anything extra for the sounds to come through?  I've attached a picture of the config, just in case I need to change something else.

This machine is doing my wagon in . Cab is badly damaged at the bottom. thinking of scrapping it .

I did manage to get power to the mpu4 , before the red light didn’t come on but did on Sunday When I tried it . with an other different psu.  The alpha made a wee flash wee bit of stinky stinky smoke I got a whiff of it and boy did I instantly regret it , the machine doesn’t boot .

My good chum Crest lives a quick drive away and he had the game card in a tuppeny nudger  and Says the game card booted in that machine  but wouldn’t accept credit , then think he  mentioned something about percentage board .

I’ll get some pics up today or tomorrow when I finsh my night shift .

and see what some folks on the forum think before I send it to machine heaven .

I’d love to hear the sounds etc and game play of this odd wee machine before or if do scrap it for parts . 🤦
