  1. Hello to everyone on this Forum. How I wish I'd found it a few years ago before the Scorpion 2 motherboard in my Bell Fruit 'Round The Town' machine suffered battery leak! I've read many topics already and I can see there's a wealth of knowledge and experience here that I will appreciate. Great to see a thriving 'help each other' community, I hope I can make a positive contribution.
  2. Hi I’m looking fir a scorpion 2 power wire as mine has to much corrosion on it, and corrosion has spread up the wires and ruined the crimps. Has anyone got one? Also would May consider a MPU to lol I know it’s a long shot. Thanks !
  3. Hello, I'm already a member for 5 years, but i only read a lot of post because i like it. I have been in the car electronics in The Netherlands for 20 years but i like 230v elektronica more. I have several machines mystelf: JPM: Popeye, Barcrest: Graffity, Eurocoin: BAR 7, Astra: Game of fortune, Barcrest: Roadrunner 2 but i need some help. I hope to be in contact with you all soon.
  4. Hello First i want to apologise if my english is not perfect, and sometime a little bit strange It's very sad, in France all the Old bell fruit machine look to finish to trash, because nobody know to repair it because find basic informations or schematic is a challenge. The bell Fruit we have are in French, it's special model for export, the one i have is for exemple a "lucky star" look around 1981. (with a lot of corrosion on the dedicaced battery board but i'm going to start a new post). Thanks for your help & best regards from France ! Dimitri
  5. I'm from Holland and own the slotmachines Goldrun, Top Deck, Twentyone and Reel Cash. Next to that I own some Williams pinball machines.
  6. I have just taken delivery of an old Public Enemy #1 Fruitty that ha s a faulty ME129 Coin Mechanism. Does anyone know if these can be replaced with a newer version like the 126 dx, and if you have any other tips on these machines
  7. Hi guys i ve got this Bell fruit Instant jackpot Machine from 1995 its got a Scorpion 2 board on it and ive been trying too restore it. It had a major bat leak so iam hunting down the board and hopefully will have one in the next few weeks. Any one know this machine as id like to know if its complete ill post the pics.
  8. Huge thanks to FruitSim who donated this machine to "the cause" along with a couple of untested boards and a suitable Rom card The Roms are on the repro, so I will be burning those shortly. I have removed battery and cleaned up the boards, there doesn't seem to be any track breaks on one of them, so will try that one first. This is my first Sys85 machine. I've given it a clean and will check the psu first. Fuses all OK but 1 cap looks blown so will change that. I also need some advice on connections. All but one are obvious. There is large black connector that goes to an extension board for the top reel. It doesn't fit anywhere. Only some of the pins have wires going to them and they do line up with PLUG Y (see pic 3) Does anyone know if that is correct? Cheers Phil
  9. A few weeks ago a mate spotted this in a junk shop and I got it for a good price. There was no decals and no keys but looked in reasonable condition. On opening, the decals for £150 were inside!! The machine was complete except no coin mech (not a problem as connection looked like a mars mech) The board (Scorpion 1) was pretty clean as battery mounted on long legs :-) Gave it good clean up, changed battery, switched on (after checking PSU voltages) and it worked first time!!! The only problem is the start button. They were stickers on the outside of the button, so it has worn away Anyone got a similar machine (AWP?) that they could scan be a button pic? Video to follow soon
