  1. Hi there, only just seen this thread, did you get this running? The error in unsquash I believe is an issue with the unpacking of the graphics roms on startup, so likely one of the roms has gone bad or possibly the memory chip but I am no expert on that. It can also be caused if the four graphics roms are not fitted in the correct sequence. You mentioned the battery was leaking, if it's the same orientation as the one I have seen before unfortunately the battery leak drips directly onto the bottom rom of the plug in game rom card, almost a bullseye on the two corner pins! Why on eart
  2. Quick update, it looks like Desert Island Fruits will be re-opening fully around 6pm.
  3. Hi Andrew The site is not currently processing any new members until it re-opens following the tragic loss of Wizard. The introduction section is currently locked from posting. Reg indicated that he plans to re-open the site this evening, subject to change. In your image you will see that the logo for Desert Island Fruits is dark. "The lights are out". When the logo returns to normal the site is re-open again. I am not responsible for the site and do not have any input into its processes, I am just passing on the current status.
  4. I am sorry to report that it looks like this will ultimately be a non-runner. This is a machine I had discussed with Wizard before as a possibility to do but unfortunately there are some issues that needed to be fixed. The video is out of sync in some way, everything is green with small black bars. There are no configurable options in MFME M1V to adjust the video output. This is probably something that we could have lived with but the emulator crashes during some of the video sequences (either freezes or gives a Windows crash message). I have seen the same sync issue in real life in
  5. 84% is a good value to set, Maygay used to recommend around this level (84 - 86%) on the back of flyers. Whether your £5 rom is official Maygay or not is a matter for debate.
  6. On the ESP program card what code is on the rom sticker? Usually in the format SAx-xxx
  7. Sock unfortunately Maygay had very few switchable jackpot AWP roms on the M1 platform. The exceptions were some roms (such as Monopoly Bingo) where the machine could be switched between token JP and all cash JP (usually half the amount). Some of these were rebuilds where the trail or board was changed to that they only had cash values with the last step being "JACKPOT" (such as the red version of Pink Panther). Some clubbers were switchable. On most AWP's only the percentage could be changed or the price of play via an onboard M1 dipswitch (if a 20p play ROM the switch would change it to 10p p
  8. Did you manage to get these dumped and find out for sure what they were?
  9. Sorry to hear this news just now. So many great machines in the past both AWP and clubber. Very pleased to hear you have at least rescued some of it Player.
  10. You may be thinking of Hi Tension which was indeed in the same cab. Hopefully a dump of the roms will clear it up as the name of the machine is normally found at the end of the file in plain text on Maygays.
  11. Good find there Crest! Looks like a mix up of different techs from those pictures. Hi Profile is a new one on me, I wonder if this was Maygay or a rebuild by another manufacturer? Are you able to get these roms dumped at all? If you can that would be fantastic, you may have uncovered something new there.
  12. This thread is incredible, keep up the good work Andrew.
  13. Anyone in or around Lincolnshire that could buy and collect this for emulation? Complete kit of reels, glass, button inserts, roms etc. Couldn't find a record of it already emulated. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BWB-High-Striker-complete-conversion-kit-MPU3-glass-bands-ROMs-sub-loom-manual/123962637804?_trkparms=aid%3D1110001%26algo%3DSPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20190212102350%26meid%3D3ba932c32ba449e98723f8a0e0c015f2%26pid%3D100012%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D123963464460%26itm%3D123962637804%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100012.m1985
