  1. Thanks Dicky for sharing these amazing pictures! Now thats an arcade, not what you get on the sea fronts nowadays, and as said in previous comments everyone young and old playing for fun, not to try and win (and lose) a months wage like they do today. Thanks again for sharing these, it really is how I remember arcades, man I miss decent machines. And more importantly, hope you're feeling better as I imagine it wasn't pleasant! Thanks again Dicky πŸ™‚
  2. Hey Wayne Happy new year mateyπŸ₯³, thanks for the offer again πŸ™‚ Its very temping, but will need a lot of coveting i imagine (coin mech, pay out tube, and gaming roms). It is the version I remember playing too the 2p game πŸ™‚ I'll see how easy it is to do and if its a headache, but really really appreciate the offer you're a star πŸ™‚
  3. Thanks again all, I did do an update but under the wrong thread πŸ˜†πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ You'll see the rough base being made and cut, no where near your skills Wayne but better than it was and now standing on its own lol πŸ™‚ and yes there are allot of very talented and knowledgeable people on here, I see such great rebuilds and great technical threads but wish I could comment on those, but totally lost by it all! I love my machines and they are with me for the long run for sure unless I hit hard times and have to reluctantly sell, but sure will have your name and a few others tagged on them! Warlo
  4. Cheers guys πŸ™‚ Well just wanted to show what other machines distracted me from finishing the EWN Cheers Joe, well thats something I can't say I did (unfortunately!) It was a professional lad on the outskirts of Brum who did it, polishers are really hard to find nowadays, and he did a grand job on the frames and coin tray. I was talking to him about getting them chromed, and he suggested the polishing idea as it has the same affect at a fraction of the cost which was great! Yep I totally agree matey, these machines are harder to find, so spending all the time and effort to resto
  5. Just a few pics of the Copperwin which was a full strip out of absolutely everything, buttons totally apart and cleaned, mechs cleaned all metal repowder coated and the chrome look coated, the frames and coin tray polished, PSU and boards taken out and updated. It was a disaster inside, the lower section had mouse bits in it, so a mess πŸ™ˆ but one of a few fun projects to do, but seeing you totally build a cab from was so so impressive! The finished cab really is just amazing. Even down to the t molding you used, tye stuff I've seen is plastic, you found (go knows how) rubber molding! Ab
  6. Hey Wayne Cheers for the message matey I've only noticed it now πŸ™‚ well NO where near as good as yours!!! I've done the one side (although not the best), and a few other projects have got in the way so yet to finish the other side as also space is an issue too! This year with lockdown meant allot of ebay and Facebook πŸ™ˆ so in June I had a sensible amount of machines which has jumped upto 18 πŸ™ˆπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Anyway heres some pics of the one completed side πŸ˜† Copperwin, Instant Replay and a few others were the chunky projects which I'm super chuffed with how they look πŸ™‚
  7. Superb job, looks outstanding you must be so chuffed with the way it looks πŸ™‚
  8. No worries matey Yep will be in touch no doubt when either you're next down or up to yours. I have a bunch so will chat about what you need nearer the time. If you've the sorter bottom part, I've the top part of the mechs for sure πŸ‘πŸ™‚ Yeah you MAY have enough old 10ps, think you need to double check 🀣 Will dig them out matey πŸ™‚
  9. That's really good of you to offer these parts πŸ™‚ what a star Anything MPU3/System80/MPS related would be amazing! Like Chris I'm also short on a few 10p tubes/token tubes. Chris I have a bunch of Mars mechs matey (111's and a few others) these are still on old coins can dig them out πŸ™‚ πŸ‘ Also like Chris also happy to pay anything and postage. Thanks again
  10. Man alive looks amazing, this picture just pickled my head, the amount angles, dimensions! The cab really does look fantastic, yes it's a machine you should keep hold of πŸ™‚ has one of the best jackpot jingles JPM did (IMHO). Just shout if you need any pictures or help with the inside as have a Special Reserve too, but as you have the old battered cab I'm sure you can already see where things go πŸ™‚ Great thread, love seeing the progress πŸ‘πŸ™‚
  11. I third that too!!! Absolutely loving seeing the progress of this and what its looking like πŸ‘
  12. Hold on, thats an excuse to flash a bit of porn at us all next to it 😲😍 an EWS! Very very nice! Great work on MAME cab, looks nice πŸ‘
  13. Holy moly 😳 absolutely brilliant work so far, wow! You've taken some great pictures of your work so far, really does look amazing! My part rebuild is embarrassingly bad compared to this, you must be in the carpentry industry with work like that, if not you need to be! Superb job so far, loving the updates and keep up the great work πŸ™‚πŸ‘
  14. Wow what an amazing start, the new cabinet will look great and is also taking shape already! It looks a really challenging project that's for sure, I do have the un duluxed version of Special Reserve, so if you need any pictures or info for reference for yours just let me know πŸ™‚ Its absolutely worth saving and bringing back to life as its a nice game and machine.
  15. That just made me litterally lol to myself, thank heaven I didn't have a gob full of tea as my phone would of inherreted that!!! The water tank, is that located behind one of the coin mechs? They don't design them like they use too hey, burying parts like they do πŸ˜‰ But yeah it is an absolute wild stab in the dark someone might know, it could be one of a 1000 things to go wrong causing these errors πŸ™ˆ hopefully someone might know 🀞
  16. Hi all I think it maybe easier to watch my little video of Silver Reserve and also Copperwin to see my wonderful system 80 issues πŸ™ˆ It saves me trying to type up a lengthy message about the random faults they are both doing and potentially missing something. Nick has been an absolute star and also suggested I put a plea out on here for any suggestions. Steve (Lancett) has been great too suggesting its a switch issue, but all seem to be ok. I may of possible missed one, or if the videos of the faults are familiar to some that may of had them before, absolutely any suggestions

    Mpu 4 issue...

Hey Joe Nice one all for the help and suggestions, as it happens like Joe I had a mix of Barcrest and JPM sensors in a few machines which just swapped over now πŸ™‚ sadly no difference on my lot, but one potential error to rule out down the line. Cheers Joe and all for the advice, I do love this forum it is a god send πŸ™‚πŸ‘
  18. You are a legend thank you that's super appreciated!!!! Will have a read through it now πŸ™‚ Thank you matey πŸ‘
  19. Cheers Nick, yep it's getting hold of that manual will keep on digging πŸ™‚ don't want to put the wire in the wrong slot πŸ™ˆ
  20. Wow Rich great machine, one of these popped up on Facebook this week too (unless it was this machine?), be great to see a video of this running looks a fun machine πŸ™‚πŸ‘

  22. Hi all Hope you're all keeping well! Sorry I've just reposted this question in the right section πŸ™‚ I've just hadο»Ώ some system 80 boο»Ώards fixed by the guru on hereο»Ώο»Ώο»Ώο»Ώο»Ώ Bob, gone to wire the Silver Rerο»Ώerve up and noticed an Orange wire loose. I've hο»Ώad a go at download the System 80 manual from the download section of the mecca, and like everyone sadly having no joy and it jumps back to the mecca home page. I'm not sure if anyone would know where this random orange wire is supposed to go? Cheers all in advance ο»Ώο»Ώ Rob πŸ™‚
  23. What a machine! Great work, looks superb and not at all jealous πŸ˜† Well done, the works you've mentioned looked a mission, but a mission worth doing as it does look fantastic. Great to see it up and running thanks for the vid upload πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸŽ°
  24. Amazing work Bob! How you've managed to get both of the boards working is astonishing, thought maybe 1 (at a push) as they were pretty badly burnt up. Absolutely belliant Bob
