johnparker007 started following Fruit Machine ROM Archive
-
I did already add the link in my forum signature over on Dif: Not exactly one of my projects since it's simply a one-off upload of @Geddy's incredible work, but it's such a valuable Community Resource I felt it warranted a place among the other project links! I did also post a new thread about it in the Dif Resources section: https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/topic/16850-fruit-machine-rom-archive/ I just looked it up, and there's no way to post a raw URL link in a google drive, you can only post links to other google drives. So no way to create a direct link right now. I've added a text doc, with just a link to the Community Drive so far... I can add more links, open to suggestions
-
Link this over at dif too maybe add the link within your community drive?
-
That's a lot of ROMs!!

Dear vending machine friends, I am looking for new JPM steper motors with the designation 23PM-C315-04 (see picture). Is there a source of supply? Thank you very much Housi
-
Great stuff, thanks for this John!
-
I saw someone trying to track down some ROMs the other week over on Desert Island Fruits, so I've mirrored @Geddy's big fruit machine ROM collection to the Internet Archive. I can periodically upload a fresh copy to overwrite the old one... since we've got the publicly accessible Community Drive (see Dif for more info on this project), this seemed like a good companion resource Link is here: https://tinyurl.com/3jhzbueb

Johan01983 started following Anyone selling a MPU3 test rig? and Big Champ (mpu3) rom files?
-
Anyone familiar with this cab? I'm looking for the rom files as those files on my card seem to be corrupted Eurocoin Big Champ (mpu3)
-
Hi, if anyone wants to sell a mpu3 test rig, please let me know/send me PM. (Non-working or issues - no problem)

34-35mm inside cap Graham (white back moulding marked B376) ... seems was mistaken about legend being yellow (could have sworn it was) ... looks like design was for yellow but for whatever reason this one got/ended up orange ... be nice to fit a yellow legend/lens anyhow, maybe with AutoWin printed on clear acetate and sandwiched between, finish conversion off proper.
-
Certainly plan B if all else fails.👍

I would crimp a solid wire and put solder on them too, belt and braces
-
That is possible, Digikey have them in stock https://www.digikey.co.uk/en/products/detail/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/61062-3/21530399 , I would always be a bit concerned that the possible heat generated would affect the crimps after a while especially if they weren't crimped with a proper AMP tool which most folks wouldn't have? I've never seen a drawing of one as they don't appear in the Combo-line info as they originally weren't PCB mounted. It's possible this could have been a special for Barcrest, I do hope not! Still, pins are available to measure from existing connectors if someone has the skills to produce a drawing. Not sure what they might be made of though?

What diameter is the lens on the auto win button Paul?

Looked after Deluxe version of this game for around 15yrs and some years back a deck from original £2 machine turned up, complete with board/ROMs ... subsequently missed auction of original top (pic2, 2017) and got outbid on an original (lower) glass amongst a job lot (2021) ... would like to revert to original format with artwork to match, for a change, if respective owners of glass and top would consider parting with them? (would send over custom packaging ... sleeve bubble-wrapped in box, if so and obv supply beer tokens or some other part/s in return) Second request ... missing original yellow cap for Auto Win button - does anyone have one spare? After yellow medium size lens (yellow legend under orange cap at present) ... cheers.
-
can you not get crimp ones and crimp like 1mm solid tinned coper wire in them, then your have what you need?
-
Do we have a drawing of the pins (or can we create one)? If we decide on size and material I know companies with suitable CNC capabilities and can get a price from them.
