connectors for old molex type plug

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone.Ive bought a good few different connectors and non match this. The male part is 1.5mm dia and 20mm overall length.I think similar to whats on old fruities.Has anyone got new ones or even an old plug so i can remove the connector and join a new wire to it.I need at least 2 as these are the melted ones in the fruitie quiz.Willing to pay of course.

Unfortunately the pics a so far out of focus it's impossible to identify.

When you say they are Molex what board are they from?

Look on the connector for a identifier like AMP and a number, then try and locate the pins from the connector type

The tech is EVF from coin master.but this does not connect to that board. There are no markings on either male or female side

Still difficult to see from the pics as they are out of focus.
Are you sure they are Molex and not AMP as Andrew suggested. They do look more like an AMP style to me.

Look similar to what Project use, especially the connector between mpu and payout unit.

As you can appreciate there are literally thousands of different connector types out there so eliminating all the ones that it isn't is a good start.

Probably a silly question but do you have a manual?

I have a manual but it only explains game and settings.this is not the original game, must have been altered. The lable inside says twin target,1 or 2 player.

naa I am not smart! just had the same problems finding connectors! when I made up a jamma adapter for (I think it was) Sky kid board I had the same problems finding the right connector and pins!

just looked at my jamma cabs of the same era and they are molex , not easy to see at all!

and on the other tab 1360 but I don't think you can see that from the pic as just so difficult to see

So in the small bit where it says amp,on the opposing side is a capital A.So im assuming amp type A.

I still think we are fighting a losing battle here unless you can get some 'in focus' pics. The connectors may have an id. on them, but they may not so visual identification will be everything unless someone knows what they are already.
