Maygay machine delivered today

Just got my donky kong.Needs an easy tidy up to cabinet,new locks.Respray button pannel,fix mpu,re cap psu.I have leff it at work so i can drop onto it when im there rather than keep carting things about.Will add some pics tomorrow then add more to this thread as its refurbed.The glass is good.

slack day at work so got to work on it.Side pannels removed and painted,button pannel stripped and sprayed.Reels and buttons cleaned and re bulbed.Inside cabinet cleaned.So hopefully will re assemble tomorrow and get new locks.Cleaned glass aswell.

Will be interesting to see which Rom version it is when powered up. I am guessing it will be a later revision, especially with it being on £5 jackpot unless this is switchable.

Probably a flat game on this JP also.

Machine now cleaned up and awaiting a working mpu.New locks fitted today.Should get my coin mech back next week that ron has updated for me.

i saw a donkeypong with a maygay embossed front step 

 

infact ive seen a couple , maybe it was a optional extra ?

The upper bolt on sides i use wilkos satin black paint.The metal like button pannel i use satin black spray and then i use dashboard shine on lower cabinet to blend repairs and give it luster.Its amazing how cabinets come up

So finally a really massive thankyou to mick (fruit58) for battling with my crap m1a board.Im told it wont be long but no rush.Mick is the guy who will make this machine live,i have made it look nice,so thanks mick,im saving up for the bill dude.I really dont know how you do it

Thanks matty,its amazing what new locks and a bit of work can do.Then again ive always been into woodwork and also made cabinets sometimes.That was in the past though
