MFME v5.1 Release Thread

First of all let me wish everyone a Happy New Year!

 

Here is the first MFME update which hopes to address the majority of issues reported on the first V5 release, and now includes a XP release.

 

Here is a random list of changes/updates that I remember doing, there will probably be a lot more.

 

v5.1 Fixes and Changes

M1a Video sound fix for Screen Play

m1a fixes for Thrills & Spills opto tab issue

Astra Sys 1 Implemented lamp dimming and other fixes for lamp/led drivers

S4 Alices Wonderland now working

S5 changes that improve A5 gfx response times, S5 now uses more CPU time

Electrocoin sound fixes

SRU sound fixes

More coin options added for tokens

Fixed ccTalk coin lockups

Buttons 120, 121 & 122 added to replicate rotary wheel and button on S4 & S5

S5 reel led option added and RGB led 259 to replicate SP Led

Text offset added to Buttons to adjust text position

Fixed Epoch JP lockup on IJ

Fixed Epoch 7 seg displays

 

Castle Matrix display dimming added

Tools

Layout zoom added in design mode use Page Up/Page down

Fixes to scroll bar mode when editing large layouts

Fixes for lamp extraction

Fixes to "Remove off screen components" tool

Fine component positioning using cursor keys while holding down left mouse button

Fixes for Copy Font/Copy Text

Reel gradients now work on opaque reels

Additional copy/paste options for lamp masks 3 & 4

BFM video screen size can now be adjusted in properties

Fixed issue with component overlays on resized components

Fixed various issues with debugger

Bitmaps no longer stored in layouts at original size

Fixed crash in EM Editor -> Simulator

Local IP Address Find button added in prefs which ought to work on the majority of systems ( Not available on XP version )

 

Checkboxes no longer change state when moved

 

Disc Reel No Gap option added to remove the black lines between segments

 

Layout Notes now supports RTF, prepare using an external editor and paste in

 

Both versions included in the following rar file, just extract the one you need

Please ensure you have already downloaded v5.0 first, then just replace that binary with this one:

As always, thank you for all what you have done and keeping the FME scene alive and kicking once again...

Many thanks indeed but dont understand any of that up above youve updated as still reading though treads on trying to get a fruit machine working(roms etc) :hmm: but am sure to those who know it makes it a lot better :clap:

Thanks so much for the XP compatible version, my wife's laptop is hers again!!  And SRU sound fix, excellent news.

Thanks for this, great to see the first update.

 

Two more things updated, Ant & Dec SNT, the grab lamps, now function correctly and the & sign is now present in the game manager in the add/edit notes section. 

 

One tiny thing I did was rename the update as 5.1, rather than just leave it as mfme.
