Are You a Spambot ?

  1. Hi Everyone. My wife and I recetly acquired a Mayday Monopoly fruit machine (pics attached) and it was previously used by a family as a money saver / piggy bank for their kids (genius!) - not sure if this meant it was changed in any way. They said it was working when they put it into storage (garage) 4 years ago but now when I connect the power all I get is a bit of a crackle / fizz from the power unit and a red light on motherboard. I have tracked round and checked for loose connectors (some are not connected - this looks intentional so I didn't mess with anything at this stage) What looks like the battery (green) seems a bit rusty and the solder has cracked on one of the connections to the board and there is a blue tube like component underneath that looks quite corroded. As you can probably tell I know little / nothing about these machines so if there's a straight forward fix for this or an easy way to switch out motherboard etc then that would be great as I'd rather sell a working machine - otherwise please can you advise me of what / where / how much to sell this for in its current condition. Thanks again for your help - my wife will be glad to get it out of the garage as we can only just shut the door! 😉 Cheers
