  1. Hi Guys Here is a DX version of JPM's Club Vegas from 1982. Hopefully there will be some members on here that are actually old enough to remember this? A big thanks goes to Louie Bee for uploading the ROMS, and some pictures on which this is based off. Thanks to Richy100 for providing the flyers (inside the folder). Thanks to Reg (desertislandfruits.com) for testing. And finally, thanks to Wizard for providing us all with MFME and its evolution:) Shortcuts and further info is in the Read Me file if needed. Download Layout: Club Vegas v1.zip I hope you enjoy this.....Andy B
  2. My latest addition to my collection is this JPM "Play Bingo" £150 Jackpot Essentially a higher jackpot version of "Reel Bingo" which was £60 or £100 jackpot As you can see, it was filthy when I picked it up yesterday. I have given it a "stage 1" clean. Buttons to come off later for a proper clean. There were no keys, so had to drill the locks and I was suprised to find it as a front opener. I have 3 others in this cab and all are rear openers Love the way it opens in 3 parts and easy to get at everything. Why did they abandon this method? Reels need cleaning. One has come "unstuck" but is not damaged. Bonus in that there was half a tube of 10p's After cleaning (Pic 4) I am pleased to report the glass is superb, lots of chrome detail in the artwork and it has not corroded at all The metalwork is pitted as usual, but is good enough for me Slightly annoying that it only holds £120 in pound coins, then pays 50p's, the later machines I have have 2 x pound coin tubes. It also means I have to ensure I fit a mech that takes 10's and 50's. I can mod it and fit one of the longer tubes I have spare, they are about £150 capacity. I did that on my blackjack club and it pays £148 in pound coins now! First "proper" job will be to replace the rifa's in the PSU and check the board - will do that after me dinner! Phil.
  3. Some of you may have seen this come up on gumtree. It was sold, but they got let down and I got lucky! especially as I was within 20 miles today and was cheap as chips Unusual machine, made by Video fruit service, £100 JP with dual stake and 2 sets of prizes with each stake? I was surprised to find it runs on MPU3, so should be fixable with a bit of help.... Looks in great condition - looking forward to having this running I haven't taken the board out yet - first job - to see how bad it is
  4. Well, I was kindly donated this machine last year by a member here but have just not got around to doing anything with it! So here it is - currently on £75 jackpot, but I will be looking to make new decals to make it £100 or £150 if it can go I can't find a switch to change it (My other MPS machines have a seperate switch), so it may be dip switches. It came with a PSU that needs repairing, but no board (MPS2) I have come by a couple of boards that I have tested and they work, so that is sorted Needs a good clean first as it was originally in an outside shed so covered in all sorts of stuff
  5. One of two of you know I have aquired another Club Crackpot machine with earlier roms that we already have. I have extracted and posted here. They are version 2.0 I have tested in the emulator and they work, but it doesn't look as though the pots will go high as was thought played over £100 through and pots didn't go up very quickly or over a fiver before paying out. P1 and P2 need 128k roms and P3 needs 64k roms (I expect you can use others by changing jumpers on the rom card) I will happily burn them for anyone, but I don't have any eproms of that size, so you would need to post me some. Phil. Crackpot2.0.zip
  6. Huge thanks to FruitSim who donated this machine to "the cause" along with a couple of untested boards and a suitable Rom card The Roms are on the repro, so I will be burning those shortly. I have removed battery and cleaned up the boards, there doesn't seem to be any track breaks on one of them, so will try that one first. This is my first Sys85 machine. I've given it a clean and will check the psu first. Fuses all OK but 1 cap looks blown so will change that. I also need some advice on connections. All but one are obvious. There is large black connector that goes to an extension board for the top reel. It doesn't fit anywhere. Only some of the pins have wires going to them and they do line up with PLUG Y (see pic 3) Does anyone know if that is correct? Cheers Phil
  7. Well, I won it for just shy of 8 quid, i've prized open the back and found £7.20 in change - so that is a good start I really only bought it for the cab as I have a £75 JP club climber that I bought after it been broken into, so cab wrecked, but glass good. However, for the time being, I may give this a whirl It came with the original PCP manual which details the conversion kit and how to implement it from different machines. There is a conversion from club double to £150 version, but unfortunately that isn't the one I have as only 1 pound coin tube and it is different sofware. This one is £60/5p or £100/10p. Unusually, the 10p's go via the S10 mech The rom cart says solid silver, so there you go, that's what it was in a previous life! I found the manual quite fascinating. I'll scan and upload at some point. As you can see from the pics, it is in a pretty bad way, artwork peeling, masks off, but i'm going to try to repair, just to play a machine i've never seen The wiring loom looks a little bodged, there is what looks like an MPU3 connector at the top! (Pic 5) Many bulb holders and a couple of MPU connectors not even used. Note, the PCP button is not used at all I can see the PSU caps look blown. First job will be to look at the board. Phil.
  8. With MASSIVE thanks to Netdent who donated this machine to me for nowt, I am attempting to restore it to working order Physically, it is in pretty good condition - certainly better than my club attraction A couple of the buttons are damaged, but there is a full replacement set included! I can see the fusible resistor R20 is shot to pieces. Cleaned the board yesterday and left to dry. First pics
  9. Had this machine for a while, but had no motivation to repair! As you can see the artwork is really bad. If you touch any of it, it just flakes off Anyway, a MASSIVE thank you to Mike (FruitSim) who kindly let me have a set of glasses for the machine Phil.
  10. Got this Electro "Club Double" by Lyngard Automatics Never had an electro before and fancied having a look at how they work! This one is dual stake, 5p/£50 and 10p/£100 and has a gamble feature I assume it achieves dual stake by paying from one tube for the low jackpot and both tubes for the high jackpot as it has 2x10p and 2x50p tubes. Not in too bad condition. Needs a good clean before I think about switching it on and I will check the transformer before connecting up the main board I can see no broken or burnt wires or relays, so hopeful To be honest, I shall probably sell it if I get it working, once i've had a play! Phil.
