Are You a Spambot ?

  1. Hello, I recently got a Barcrest Golden Years with a MPU4 Mod4. It starts up all fine, but if you try to get money out of it it says: Obstruction Alarm. As this normally concerns the hopper, I replaced it with a completely new one. But surprise, surprise it did not solve the problem. I then took a look at the MPU itself. There I could see corrosion by the battery all over the board (pictures included). As I am new to this area, I hoped to get some help from you. I did search in various boards, but did not find an instruction on how to fix this problem. Should I simply buy a new MPU? And if the MPU can be fixed, can the battery just let out, to avoid any corrosion in future? (I do not need any saved credits) Thanks a lot in advance, LaRie http://imageshack.us/g/854/img20120724160304.jpg/
