  1. Can anyone remember a Bally AWP with £2 jackpot for blue stars, also had pint of beer symbols? An early PSU machine, had the payout tray and hopper in the top of the cabinet and the reel mech in bottom. I have seen windsor castle and roll out the barrel in same cabinet, but this definately had a processor as it used to make an electronic warbling noise when you got the nudges. Up to ten were randomly awarded and you could have one try for more and they didn't count down until you started nudging. would love to see a pic of this one, last seen in an arcade in the early eighties and have never seen one since?? doubt any have survived!

Will do Steve. I just want to see it up and running again, these old Gower points are so rare now, I just hope the cab n glasses are good and the storage was dry? If it is a non runner, I promise you that I wont break it up and we can work out a deal so you can have it and I can come and play it once you worked your magic on it!

OK Mate. Would you give a £100 if it doesn't work? He said he going to send me pics on my phone in a few days.

    Gowerpoint Nudge Select

I used to have one of these in the 80s, but sold it on for £50 in the early nineties. Bumped into the guy I sold it too all those years ago in a pub Yesterday, hadn't seen him for years. I casually asked what became of that old Gowerpoint and was gobsmacked when he said it was still in his mothers Garage! So does it still work, I asked him? He replied, well it did when I last played it 20 years ago, if you want to buy it back I will take a £100. I am Very Tempted at this price. Steve Lancett, if you are reading this I may need to ask you to go over this if it hasnt been turned on in 20 years?

Thanks Guys All the 10p tokens are sold.
  11. I was having a good clear out in the garage today and came across what I knew I had stashed away years ago in an old cloth bag but could never find them until now! A recent purchase of a firecracker is what spurred me on! Well, I have more than I will ever need as I only have the one machine that takes tokens. I am offering them as two separate batches before I put them on eBay to anyone on here who wants them. First is lot of 144 x mixed brass 10p tokens, looking for £40 + postage for the lot Second lot is the much more common 578 x Eurocoin Slotted 20p tokens with the two Correct entry bezels for them included. looking for £60 + postage on this lot. please pm me as I will sell on first come, first serve basis Cheers Nigel

Blackbox logic or lack of it......

Thanks Danno You were 100% correct on the green molex plug % theory on Firecracker. Pin 1 was connected and it paid out like crazy and was easy to gamble to £1.60 & £2.00. I disconnected pin 1 and no discernible difference, still way too generous. I then tried taking pin 1 out with my molex extractor and put into pin 8 on the green plug and wow, its like night and day. Cut nudges down to about half but also made a difference to the Gamble outcome which was a BIG surprise to me!! Always thought it was 50/50, but obviously not, its controlled by the % wire as well? It definitely seems that way to me!
