    Any one got machines upstairs?

    Don't do it...

    Tales from Midibobs workshop, Sys80

Well done Bob. You've done well to get them running so quickly. It's an odd tech, but I think once the regulator board has been serviced with new caps and regulators and the CPU cards are repaired, they can be reliable.

    You know about POR?

    Tales from Midibob's workshop MPU4

I always wondered what caused that IRQ alarm. I had that once and had no idea whatsoever.
  5. I suppose it depends on the complexity but if you don't have the diagram, you're pretty much screwed unless you have a loom to copy and even then it would a nightmare to follow. Even with the diagram, it can take time to get it right and there can be errors in the drawing (Fortune Numbers for instance) What machine is the loom for?

Nice one buddy. So glad you got it. Is it mpu2?

    Maygay EPOCH MPU repair

Yes you're right. I'm on my last working board. Once it fails, I'll scrap wipeout. It's a shame.

    MPU2 test rig

    Fair play that is cool.
  10. My star wars had a separate battery on the program module. A varta in fact. Meter it. Is it flat? It maybe on its last legs and only holding a charge for a short time. Mpu5 won't boot with a flat battery, so may not be the coincell.

Anything is possible if you have the glasses, the program card, the reel bands and a wiring diagram? The problem is... No one is going to do this for you. Creating machine's from scratch or converting back requires a lot of patience and effort on your part. You need to source the components one by one and then assemble. Have you got the glasses?

Wanted - Jpm Reel Bingo club.

I lost £20 on one once, I was still stood there when my mates wife put £1 in and won £100 on her third spin when three bars held. Probably my most gutted moment playing machines.

Wanted - Jpm Reel Bingo club.

I've suddenly got the urge to own a Reel Bingo... £100 or £150 JP but not £75. If you have one for sale please get in touch. I'll collect, no couriers. Cheers Paul
