  1. I have read many posts over time on many different forums from cars to arcade machines. It seems like the standard of posts or it may be the way posts come across is getting worse and worse. "I am scared of getting an error on machines, stress??" Really, some of the posts that appear on the Mecca at the moment or some of the people that make the posts don't live in the real world..... Do they? How do some get through daily life? Other posts give advice that is completely wrong and miles wide of the mark.... Ford forum (won't say which)..... guy Want's to disable airbags and warning lights (to pass Mot) as he was scared..... scared of the airbags going off if he ever had a collision..... Need I say more.... The worry fruits, the advisors who would advise looking for a gas leak with a lighter are taking over. Makes me so glad I dropped the interest in electronics, fruities (from such an involved level) a good while ago and made brewing my new hobby where worries, being scared and shit advice seem to have no place.... yet.😩

  2. Why? What do you have against meters. Meters clicking up adds to the experience of playing a machine. Nothing better than a machine clicking away after a massive win

  6. How do you know it's definitely a board fault? A faulty meter or a poor connection in the wiring to the meters can also give a meter 60 error.

  18. It was the processor card had battery damage. It's original but fitted with the old blue battery of god. It does look like it has only just stopped working to be fair. Should be an easy repair and another one to add to the collection! The machine I've had working ok. Original board and eproms. If you do get one I have some spare decals mate. I've no idea regaurding the £1 tubes. I've heard you do have to do something to the tubes on these so just enquiring. I've never had a machine without a hopper before (amateur lol) so looking to understand the pay unit. It works ok testing on old £1.

  19. Yeah thanks... I've found getting hold of one very difficult. It was a case of not being able to hit the buy it now button fast enough! It uses all the same sfx samples as the classic Awp- this one has a cashpot (x4 target ducks) it seems to take £800 just to fill the cashpot and reserve display on Jpm's. As with all clubbers i should imagine it will be a long haul to get it playing. I can't remember ever getting to the top haha. I remember it being a really fun machine to play... and just have good memories standing around it with my friends trying to win money for cigarettes and beers. Thanks on the mech recommendation... that's just the £1 tubes to find out about and maybe a manual if anyone has one stashed away?

  23. Talk sense from time to time instead of shite, I give comment as I find the posts. Let's not get to trying to tell me what I really (not realy) need to be...👍 Oh and many things are impossible, so once again we appear to have another bit of shit information.
